Word of the Lord to me this morning-February 4, 2017

I have set you apart from the people, I have set a distinction between you that is not discerned by what you say or what you know but rather how you live. It may seem My grace rests on everyone else, to continue in the way they have been, but My grace upon you is as a short leash-that is my discipline.

Learn to live and move according to My grace. My grace lifted is not that I have left you, nor that I’m angry with you, but that I’m teaching you to move in step with My Spirit. Others may, you may not. Count that as joy. There is a day coming when others will only be able to desire what I enable you to do.

Leviticus 20:26 you shall be holy and to me, because I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the people, that you should be mine.

Psalm 4:3 but know that the Lord has set apart for himself him who is godly; the Lord will hear when I call him.

    Wow. This is very similar to what the Lord has spoken to me. Especially, “Others may, but you may not.”

    I am grateful for His hand on my life in this way, even though others do not seem to understand at times, such as when I say no to things they see as good things.
