The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it. Psalm 68:11

Word of the Lord given to me Feb 5, 2017

Fear that comes from your insecurities and forgetting My word, has arisen to challenge the authority I have given you.  Do not entertain that fear but remember My word.  I AM your Defender.  I Am your Shield.  I AM your Fortress. I AM your Buckler and your Strength.  I still the tumultuous seas, and I calm the rage in those who rise against you. As the mountains surround Jerusalem so I surround my people. Remember your speech about those who disagreed with you.  Be humble and repent.  Close that door against you.   Remind Me that I am your Protector, your Defender, and rise up in the authority that you already have.  Stand on my word and you stand against the enemy that threatens you. Fear Me with the understanding that My word is faithful and true, and all other fear will not get hold of you.

Psalm 5:11, 12 But let all those who rejoice, who put their trust in You, let them shout for joy because You defend them. Let them also who love Your name, be joyful in You. For You Oh Lord will bless the righteous.  With favor You will surround them as a shield.

Psalm 125: 2,3 – As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever.  For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted in to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.

  1. Was just looking at Patriot Missile batteries… referred to as “Iron Dome.”
Think there may be a message in today’s Super Bowl.
Think the game may include some important interceptions by the Patriots – that changes everything.

    We shall see.

    1. Hmmm, the word the Lord has given me this morning is “Interception” from Psalm 6. Today is Feb 6 so the word corresponds with my reading. I don’t watch football. Interesting.
