The desires of your heart were cultivated by Me. It took years for you to accept them, but now that My desires for you have become yours, will I not bring them forth?  Commit your way to Me, trust in Me and I will bring the plans I have for you to pass, but you MUST NOT fret about others who have similar desires; those who are successful, those who look the part according to your idea of the image you think one must have.  They have a different path.  Today your paths meet and seem identical to each other, but you don’t know what their insecurities are, whether they are truly prospering, or whether they are walking the path they were meant to be on.  Don’t fret! It causes you harm.   I have never allowed my righteous ones to beg for bread.  I have never forsaken any.  And I will not leave you to be swallowed up by wolves.  Commit your way to Me and I will fill your heart with peace, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and these will keep your feet steady.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, your justice as the noonday sun.  Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;  Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way.

Psalm 37:8(b) Do not fret – it only causes harm.

Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.

Psalm 37: 25 I have been young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his descendants beg for bread.

Proverbs 8:10-11 Choose my instruction instead of silver;  knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies and nothing you desire can compare with her.

Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

 For our God is a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12: 25-29

When I was 10. I used to look into my father’s eyes and see my reflection, a princess. He called me Princess. After he left, I could no longer find her.

 

So, I had decided I needed to see God.  It was a mission of mine.  Every night, I’d go to bed and sit up.  I’d look around the room and call the Lord.  “God, I know You can do anything if You want to.  And I think You want to come see me.   And I want to see You.   I am not going to go to sleep until I see You.” And I would hold my eyelids opened and say “I’m not going to sleep God.   You can do anything.  You can come into my room.  I’m not going to sleep until You do.”

 

I would be very upset the next morning, when I fell asleep and didn’t see God. 

 

Didn’t He want to see me?  Didn’t He want to show Himself to me?   

 

Okay, I would persist.  

 

So every night for weeks,  I would say the same thing, and hold my eyelids opened.   

 

Then one night, it happened.  

 

Whether in a dream or whether right in my room, I don’t know.  I can tell you that I’d always felt I saw this with my eyes opened.   

 

At the foot of my bed, was a blazing fire.   It kept me warm on a winter night.    It lit up my whole room and comforted me until I fell asleep.  

 

I didn’t know the bible said anything about God being a consuming fire.   I knew the story of Moses and the burning bush but I didn’t remember recalling this story at the time.  

All I knew is that I met God.  I KNEW Him. 

 

Fourty plus years later, He is revealing Himself the same way, but is showing me that He has always been revealing Himself as a flame of fire through me.  

 

Fire does not necessarily mean “A bundle of energy”  because this I certainly do not have.   

 

But my enemy knows what FIRE means.    

 

Fire consumes.   Therefore, it would not be an overstatement to write that our enemy wanted to be the one to consume me before my glorious God could.

 

 

Fire purifies.  Therefore, it would also not be an overstatement to say our enemy has seen to it that we should be surrounded by impurity too dark to write about. 

 

Fire causes Revelation.   Therefore, our lives before Christ were probably spent in denial.  

 

 

When I chose Him as Savior and Lord 1n 1985,  I found scripture after scripture to also confirm that He was there beside me, taking all those fiery darts upon Himself.

 

How has He revealed Himself to you?   Will you ask Him to take you there again?   

 

This is the place of Him forming a facet of His heart and His Spirit in you.   The enemy has come against this particular manifestation in you your entire life. 

 

He was never after you.  

 

He was after the One formed IN you.  

And the One IN you,  has already won.   

 

As for me, when I look now into my Father’s eyes blazing with fire….

I see the reflection of a princess standing in the center.
