This morning, I had the song by R.E.M. “It’s the End of the World as We Know it”  going through my mind and I had not heard that in recent memory.  Not coincidentally, R.E.M. stands for Rapid Eye Movement and is the beginning of the fourth stage of sleep; the state of deep sleep where most dreams take place.  I believe this fourth stage represents an actual awakening, because it is the place where the Lord speaks, and our own mind cannot control the dialogue (that isn’t to say we are puppets and God is puppetmaster, only that the Lord orchestrates the entire dialogue).  The beginning of that stage is a short transitional phase of entering spiritual rest, R.E.M.

On December 31, 2017 I was led (did not seek it, I was led) to 1 Samuel 31, the last chapter of 1 Samuel and the last day of 2017.  It was also the chapter we learn of Saul’s death.   I knew this meant “an end of an era”.

I went back to the word, just the first part of that word,  “The days of Saul are coming to a close.”  I sensed to stop right there.  (to see the entire word, click on December 2017 on the right of this page.)

So Saul, his three sons, his armor bearer, and all his men died together that same day.

Not only did Saul die, but those who helped him make the system work did, too.  It is the end of an era.

The Lord is saying the actual “shift” (R.E.M.) we have been hearing about for a decade is now.  Most of those in my circle know this, but many more do not.  If you are still doing things the way you’ve always done them, you will be greatly disappointed at the very least, but in great danger at the worst.  It is time to get on board.

It’s the end of the world as we know it.  We are in Rapid Eye Movement.  Things are happening swiftly right now as we transition to a new way.

The days of Saul are rapidly coming to a close.

Back in 2008, I awoke to an audible voice.  “All Systems Down!”  It was clear.  I then saw the systems fall like Domino’s; one by one by one, and fast.  The Lord said to me “If you are still attached to the old systems, you will fall with them.”

The first system I saw fall was the healthcare system.  (In my spirit language, this does not mean this is the first system to fall but the one the Lord wanted ME to pay attention to first.)

In 2009, He extended His hand to me in a vision, and it was an invitation to go to school for alternative medicine.  I had a burning desire in my heart to be prepared when insurance is no longer the driving force for which doctor to choose and which medicine to be on, and when healthcare is no longer actually sick care management but rather a desire to walk healthy.

I took that word “All Systems Down” in 2008 seriously.  Ten years later, I am prepared but I keep myself learning more in order to be better prepared.  For what I see coming, I feel I am not prepared enough.

What systems are you attached to?  What do you depend on?  The end of an era, the end of the world as we know it, is upon us.  ”

Saul is dead, and those who surrounded and supported him died too.   It’s time for the people of God to get ready to fill positions in the new systems, according to the dreams God has given you that have gone unfulfilled.
