from The Catholic Herald: Pope Francis poses for a photo with Chilean bishops at the Vatican May 17 (CNS photo/Vatican Media)
From the word given on December 2017: “Watch the mainstream denominations this year. Many will come out of them like the men of Jabesh-gilead, and give a proper burial, but many will join them as well”.
1 Samuel 31:11 Now when the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul,
vs 12 All the valiant men arose and traveled all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth Shan; and they came to Jabesh and burned them there.
vs 13 Then they took their bones and buried them under the tamarisk tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
David Anointed King of Judah
2 Samuel 1:1 It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” And He said, “To Hebron.”
vs 2 So David went up there, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite.
vs 3 And David brought up the men who were with him, every man with his household. So they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
vs 4 Then the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, “The men of Jabesh Gilead were the ones who buried Saul.”
vs 5 So David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “You are blessed of the Lord, for you have shown this kindness to your lord, to Saul, and have buried him.
vs 6 And now may the Lord show kindness and truth to you. I also will repay you this kindness, because you have done this thing.
vs 7 Now therefore, let your hands be strengthened, and be valiant; for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah has anointed me king over them.”
From the word in December 2017:
Church Growth and Decline
There will be growth in the church like not seen before; a movement toward the House of Prayer/Praise (David was king over Judah, and Judah means praise). As this growth increases, there will be blessings released toward those who have been in traditional religion for most of their lives but are coming out of the religious church – they will not curse the tradition but will give it a proper burial out of respect – yet will move on (2 samuel 2:4-7) They, like the men of Jabesh –gilead, will join David’s army.
Saul (the man) was dead but the men of Jabesh-Gilead, when they saw that Saul and his sons were dead, took their bodies and gave them a proper burial, offering redemption out of respect. When David heard of this, he blessed these men, and vowed he would personally repay them for their kindness.
The Chilean bishops, pictured above, have turned in their resignations to Pope Francis.
The bishops asked forgiveness from abuse survivors. Every Chilean bishop in Rome has submitted their resignation to Pope Francis. In a statement, the bishops thanked abuse victims for speaking up and asked for forgiveness. It is not known if Pope Francis has accepted the resignations.

This is redemption. Thanking abuse survivors for speaking up, then out of respect for the leadership they served under, respectfully submitting resignations as they prepare to bury their commitment to the Catholic Church and move on to what God has for them next. As these bishops leave, how many more will follow? Are these the men of Jabesh-Gilead?
I believe these are only SOME of them.
