The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it. Psalm 68:11

When your enemy falls

Be careful of the shouts of triumph as the world continues to be exposed for its sin; I am not finished judging My church.   From December 2017 word for 2018

Proverbs 24:17 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
vs 18 Lest the Lord see it, and it displease Him,
And He turn away His wrath from him.

Luke 10:17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

vs 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

vs 19 Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

vs 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

We are living in exciting times.  Exciting is pleasant but also terrifying and that depends upon whose side you are on.   If you are on the side of the righteous, the good, the patriotic, you are pleasantly excited as we are watching the taking down of evil in our nation and the world.  Those who are on the side of evil are panicking but becoming more defiant.   Evil would rather become more evil than acknowledge Jesus Christ, and in our nation people would rather become more defiant than acknowledge our President is doing good things for our nation.

There is a lot of rejoicing right now, but there is a lot of growing complaint.  Rejoicing because we can see righteousness being restored and the enemy of our land is being exposed, but complaint that justice is taking too long – just watch a Twitter feed for a little while and you will see.   The Lord clearly says in Proverbs “Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls” or basically the Lord will prolong justice until we are humbled.

I was caught up in it.  But!  Let’s be careful to rejoice that righteousness IS being restored, and that by God’s grace and mercy we are saved.  We could have been one of those who are being exposed publicly right now for all the corruption.  In fact, we were among them once.
