Watch Mainstream Denominations This Year

from The Catholic Herald: Pope Francis poses for a photo with Chilean bishops at the Vatican May 17 (CNS photo/Vatican Media)

From the word given on December 2017: “Watch the mainstream denominations this year. Many will come out of them like the men of Jabesh-gilead, and give a proper burial, but many will join them as well”.

1 Samuel 31:11 Now when the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul,

vs 12 All the valiant men arose and traveled all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth Shan; and they came to Jabesh and burned them there.

vs 13 Then they took their bones and buried them under the tamarisk tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.

David Anointed King of Judah

2 Samuel 1:1 It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” And He said, “To Hebron.”

vs 2 So David went up there, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite.

vs 3 And David brought up the men who were with him, every man with his household. So they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

vs 4 Then the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, “The men of Jabesh Gilead were the ones who buried Saul.”

vs 5 So David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “You are blessed of the Lord, for you have shown this kindness to your lord, to Saul, and have buried him.

vs 6 And now may the Lord show kindness and truth to you. I also will repay you this kindness, because you have done this thing.

vs 7 Now therefore, let your hands be strengthened, and be valiant; for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah has anointed me king over them.”

From the word in December 2017:
Church Growth and Decline
There will be growth in the church like not seen before; a movement toward the House of Prayer/Praise (David was king over Judah, and Judah means praise).   As this growth increases, there will be blessings released toward those who have been in traditional religion for most of their lives but are coming out of the religious church – they will not curse the tradition but will give it a proper burial out of respect – yet will move on (2 samuel 2:4-7)  They, like the men of Jabesh –gilead, will join David’s army.

Saul (the man) was dead but the men of Jabesh-Gilead, when they saw that Saul and his sons were dead, took their bodies and gave them a proper burial, offering redemption out of respect.  When David heard of this, he blessed these men, and vowed he would personally repay them for their kindness.

The Chilean bishops, pictured above, have turned in their resignations to Pope Francis.

The bishops asked forgiveness from abuse survivors. Every Chilean bishop in Rome has submitted their resignation to Pope Francis. In a statement, the bishops thanked abuse victims for speaking up and asked for forgiveness. It is not known if Pope Francis has accepted the resignations.
http://catholicherald.co.uk/news/2018/05/18/every-chilean-bishop-in-rome-resigns/

This is redemption. Thanking abuse survivors for speaking up, then out of respect for the leadership they served under, respectfully submitting resignations as they prepare to bury their commitment to the Catholic Church and move on to what God has for them next.   As these bishops leave, how many more will follow?  Are these the men of Jabesh-Gilead?

I believe these are only SOME of them.

How The Mighty Have Fallen

Some of the mighty will fall, some you will love. Grieve, but let not your heart be troubled.  (From December 2017 word for 2018)

2 Samuel 1:25 “How the mighty have fallen in the midst of the battle!
Jonathan was slain in your high places.
vs 26 I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan;

You have been very pleasant to me;
Your love to me was wonderful,
Surpassing the love of women.

The document below is the order to unseal the contents on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. He is  former NY Congressman who was arrested for “sexting” with a woman on Twitter and pled guilty to another sexual charge last year; sexting with a minor.  He was sentenced for 21 months in prison beginning November 2017.

When his laptop was seized by NY police officers, what they found was enough to make grown men cry,  vomit and need professional counseling afterwards.  Huma Abedin, his wife and Hillary Clinton’s closest aide, had been sending him emails; many were classified and others were pure evil.  There is a lot on the web about what those might be but I’m not wanting to make that point here today.

David and Jonathan were best friends.  Scripture says he found no greater love and companionship from a woman.  It was a pure relationship.  But Jonathan, being Saul’s son, died with Saul and David grieved hard.

“Jonathan was slain in your high places!”

It is being reported by insiders at the WH that the contents of this laptop is going to put people away for a very long time.  Pedophilia, human trafficking, drug trafficking, money laundering, murder etc, will all be exposed.   We have been praying for exposure and justice right?

Yes!  But what happens to the innocent who are caught up in this just by being connected in some way?  Exposure of the video will slay those in high places, and will bring the mighty down; politicians, celebrities, pastors and other religious leaders, doctors, lawyers, Supreme Court Justices, high ranking government officials.  What about those who serve under them?  How about those in their congregations?  How about their families?  Some of those people we love too.

Donald Trump holds the hand of Adrianna Valoy as he speaks about her daughter, New York Police Detective Miosotis Familia, who was killed in the line of duty.
On May 15, President Trump honored slain NY police officers, killed in the line of duty.  One of those officers was Detective Miosotis Familia, slain July 5, 2017.  Q suggested that she was one of the officers who viewed the video and handed it off to a higher ranking official.  She was an “innocent” attached to this video, called “The insurance file.”  She was “familia” or “family.”  (prophetic?)

Justice is a double-edged sword.  People we love who have either done wrong or have been involved in some way with those who have done wrong, will have careers ended, homes broken, or worse.  Justice is here but there is a price for that justice. Our men and women in blue, our whistle-blowers, many undercover reporters put their lives on the line and have died for this freedom.

Brace yourselves for many mixed emotions and do as David did.   Grieve first for the innocent who lost their lives.  Then get up and prepare to take your place in the kingdom.  Get ready!

Civil War

From December 2017:
The Battle between Legitimate (backed with My power) and Illegitimate Authority (not backed by My power) will bring a civil war to the United States.
(Darlene’s note: A civil war has been prophesied for about a decade or more but the time is now.  This is not a war between the right and the left. It is not a war between male and female.  It is not a war between states or nations, but rather a war between Legitimate and Illegitimate authority.)

The civil war will be between Legitimate (Power-backed) and Illegitimate authority. One is given, the other is taken by force. This is not about the violent taking the kingdom of heaven by force – this is about authority being taken by force. Authority is only taken by force when it feels threatened. And it only feels threatened when it is not there.

“Legitimate authority is covered with My favor. Legitimate authority is backed with My power. Legitimate authority is covered in true light. Do not be afraid of the darkness. It has no power over you”.

Exposure

From the word I gave December 2017:
Exposure of the practice of iniquity will continue to increase.
Be careful of the shouts of triumph as the world continues to be
exposed for its sin; I am not finished judging My church.  If you are
found to be in a sin, repent quickly for your adversary will seek to
destroy you with accusation through people.  Be humble and surrendered to
Me; acknowledging Me in all your ways.   Because of your enemy, I will
discipline you more closely, and as you surrender to Me, you will sense my
pleasure all over you.
*******************************************************************************
The amount of exposure that is coming will bring shame to many people, and
cause others to commit suicide.  It will tear down families, cause riots, and
release terror in the hearts of many.  I am reminding you, the reader, of the
above.  Be humble.  The Lord is sweeping through the nation. He is paving
the way so that righteousness can be seen in the earth.  It is what we have
prayed for, but it won’t look like what we desired.  Be humble.The following was posted on Twitter tonight, 5-16.  Please pay attention:

Stop “Taking Authority”

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.”

“Though I have given you authority in the spirit, I will require you now to walk in it.”    From December 2017 (https://darlenerose.wordpress.com/2017/12/31/word-for-2018-the-battle-for-legitimacy-in-authority-and-truth/

If you have to take authority, you haven’t been walking in it to begin with.  The Lord had given it, therefore you can either receive it or reject it.  If you reject it, the enemy will have authority over you.  If you receive it, you will have authority over the enemy.

Who is your enemy?  Anyone or thing that wants to deceive or destroy you or who or what you love.

For way too long, the church has been “taking authority” as if it has not been given already.   Here is an illustration of what that looks like.

If you only eat from Sunday to Sunday as a matter of practice, you will become malnourished and susceptible to disease.   So you go to church and ask for prayer for healing.   You’ve waited all week til the following Sunday to ask.  But you haven’t had nutrition all week, nor fellowship with the Lord all week.  How does that work?

“Taking authority” is grabbing hold of, in name only, the authority given to trample an enemy, and you might scare him away briefly, but he will just return at a more opportune time- during the week when you are not “walking” in authority.

Here is another example.  You are a parent of a toddler.  Do you instruct, discipline, and guide only when your child is out of hand, getting into everything, and being “terrible?”  Or do you lead, guide, instruct, and discipline every day in order to prevent disaster?

Okay so you get the picture.  “Taking authority” makes no sense when we have been given it already.   The Lord has given us time and space to learn how to walk in authority, but I believe he is going to start requiring it because we have an enemy who is being unleashed in greater measure

Psalm 41:11 By this I know that You are well pleased with me,
Because my enemy does not triumph over me.

It’s because God wants us to walk in what He has given us.  He is pleased because by faith, we have taken what we don’t see, and have applied it in our lives knowing He lives in us and has all authority in heaven and earth.

So why do we have to keep taking authority?  We already have it.

Back in December,  I wrote “Though I have given you authority in the spirit, I will now require you to walk in it.”   Emphasis on require.

The resources that we have had in the past, to substitute for walking in our God-given authority are diminishing.   I am telling you that you must stop “taking authority” and you must start, if you have not begun already, walking in it.

The Lord “NaCham”

1 Samuel 15:10 Now the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying,
vs 11 “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.”

vs 26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel”.

vs 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore.

vs 28 Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.

vs 29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.”

vs 35 And Samuel went no more to see Saul until the day of his death. Nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul, and the Lord regretted that He had made Saul king over Israel.

The word for regret, relent, and repent is the Hebrew word nacham (pronounced na-kham – emphasis on 2nd syllable).  Strangely enough it does not mean “to change one’s mind” or “to wish we never made the decision” but it appears to be more like “I grieve that I had to make that decision”.

2018-05-15 (1)

Translating is not easy, not even for scholars, so I won’t say for certain since I’m not one, but the idea here is like when you appoint your child over a task, knowing in advance he is going to mess it all up,  and boy, did he ever! For his sake and for the sake of the family,  he was the one to do it if it weren’t for that rebellion in him.  So you tell him “This is going to hurt me more than it is going to hurt you” right before the whooping comes.

Okay, that’s an easy picture but vs 29 says “The Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent.”   The word “relent” is the same word.

This is a conundrum.  The English language has many.

I sat with a good friend of mine yesterday who owns a business.  She put her kids in charge.  It was the best thing and it was the worst thing she could have done.  She doesn’t regret doing it because it was necessary not only for the strength of the family to work together, each according to their own gift mixes and strengths, but also to create a positive structure and family-style environment where serving the community is possible and seeing the rewards of doing good may have influence in shaping their lives.  But, the rebellion! One thinks he can come and go as he pleases, another isn’t in uniform when she arrives, still another thinks she can make her own rules as she goes.  My friend grieves over this yet it is not a decision she would have made any other way.

While that is not the best picture, it is a real, down to earth example of the same idea.

Rejecting Saul as King is not rejecting Saul the man.  The Lord’s BEST plan was for man to rule and govern himself, but because of the demand for a king, demand for change, a mighty loud outcry by the people, the Lord yielded because it is His primary plan to work with His people to govern.

What does this look like today?  Saul (the era) was necessary in order to wake up the people of God.  Leadership that served self was necessary in order to create outcry and motivate.  It is a matter of historical record that persecution in the church has driven the church to be so united, but when all is at ease, people divide and go their own ways.

The era of Saul is dead, but it was necessary.  The era of Saul grieved the Lord but His plan is for His people to become a people after His own heart – people who pursue Him with every bit of their heart, mind and soul.

It is happening.  Can you see the army of God rising up?

The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord

A Psalm of David.

Ps 15 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?

He who walks uprightly,
    And works righteousness,
    And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
    Nor does evil to his neighbor,
    Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
    But he honors those who fear the Lord;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
He who does not put out his money at usury,
    Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.

He who does these things shall never be moved.
