True story.  I was working in the health food store and a customer walked in, saw my headscarf and noticed it had elephants on it.  (I never knew that lol).  She then noticed my elephant ring.   I honestly do not have a thing for elephants this was just one of those things.

She said to me “That is good, you are connecting with your spirit animal.  The elephant is a symbol you are going to receive money.  The Indians have various spirit animals that they connect with and are guides.”

My coworker later asked me if I bought into all that and I told him “No – too many gods and you go schizo. What if they disagree?  Who do you follow?  The animals don’t even agree on what to eat; herbs, grains or meat.”

I kings 18:²¹ And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.”
