In the early 90’s the Lord spoke to my heart “If a stranger can use a word in place of Mine, he can also offer a solution apart from Mine.”

There is no Positivity or Negativity in the Kingdom of God.  There is Light.  Positive and Negative are charges that are used in tandem to produce energy.  Yes, there is energy WITHIN the Kingdom of God, but that energy is not the source of life.

No doubt you have heard a person describe another as being positive and upbeat.  Similarly, you see a lot of negativity these days, complaining, arguing, causing distress, etc.   Both positivity and negativity are charges that produce energy, but you cannot have energy without a positive and negative charge.

A person who displays confidence, and the “glass half-full” attitude is said to be positive.  But a person who sees everything as the “glass half-empty” is said to be negative.  Complaining, debby-downer.   I saw this “half-full half-empty” description of another as moot, having no practical significance whatsoever because to me, when someone describes another as seeing the glass as half-full, it is saying that person sees the emptiness….it could be fuller, but a person who sees it as half-empty sees the fullness and has vision that it is ONLY half-empty.

It is a matter of perspective.  There is no significance to this at all.  So what is the common belief?   The common belief is that there are positive people and negative people.  Those who see the glass as half-full are said to be positive, and see the bright side of things, where as those who see the glass as half-empty are said to be negative and see the darker side of things.

People who are said to be positive want to kick negativity to the curb.  But there can be no energy without positive and negative working together.   When you take this logic to its conclusion, it makes no sense.  It stops short and is shallow.  I get that we want to be around people who are upbeat and not around people who are complaining, but God calls this something different.

Belief (faith) and Unbelief (doubt) is what happens inside us when Light or Darkness is our focus.   Not positive or negative.   I know, it is words but WORDS have life and create existence.

The first paragraph in the Old Testament includes the first recorded word of God.
Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

The first paragraph in the New Testament calls that spoken Word, God.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Also in the first paragraph of the New Testament, it defines that Word, not as energy, not as positive or negative, but as Light and Life.

John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
vs 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

The Word creates existence.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

So, positive people are actually those who believe for the best but do not have a solid basis on why the best should exist.  And negative people are those who do not believe the best and cannot see that the best should exist.

That is FAR from the truth that God gives.  He is LIGHT and that LIGHT is LIFE.

If you are thinking by now, “it’s all semantics, I know what is meant by the word”, well, so do I and I reject it.  Because it is fine now, but the word CREATES something unseen within us.

Positive and Negative are charges used to conduct electricity.  You need both for energy to exist and function to happen.  Without both, the car doesn’t start.  So, why do people who call themselves positive want to kick negative people out of their lives?   I know what they mean.  They don’t want to be brought down from their false all smiles and sunshine.  It drains them.  It makes them feel and see things they don’t want to look at.  In my view, that is denial.  Energy needs positive and negative charges to operate.  The truth is, energy exists regardless if positive people don’t want to see how it exists.

Let me get even more truthful.  Positive people need energy.  Those who pride themselves in being positive are ATTRACTED to those who bring them down because they need energy and then become upset because of that same negative energy in that person.   That is because their SOURCE of LIFE is the actual ENERGY itself.

If I am a manager of a store, I am tasked with making the store more hospitable, inviting others to come in, and hopefully creating more revenue for the store.   Who is the better manager?  One who is filled with positive energy?  Or one who is filled with Light?   Positive energy is by design attracted to negative energy in order to exist, and by design more jealous of positive people.   Don’t believe me?   Try getting two magnets and putting them together.  One side of a magnet has a positive pole while the other side is a negative pole.  Positive and negative will attract each other, but positive and positive repel each other.  The same with negative.

People who are filled with Light and Life see both light and darkness and can bring solutions.  They are attracted neither to positive or negative people but rather seek to infuse both with more light.

If you accept the word “energy” in place of “Spirit” you will be using the words “positive and negative” instead of “Life and Light”.
If you accept the words positive and negative to describe people, then you will accept that you run out of energy and often surround yourself with too many negative people who drain you but yet you continually do it.

And then, you will accept receiving hands laid on you by a Reiki Master, one who imparts positive energy that flows out from themselves into you.

But, if you reject the word energy as it relates to the unseen part of a person that gives LIFE and FUNCTION, and you call it what God does, Holy Spirit, then you have seen that it is HIS SPIRIT within you that lives and moves and breathes and has your being, HIS energy flowing through and providing your function.  You will not perpetually be attracted to people who bring you down because they cannot bring you down if your eyes are focused on the One who gives LIGHT and LIFE, who ILLUMINES your own darkness.   You will recognize from time to time that you run out of steam, and have gotten off track but when hands are laid upon you by another who believes that God is the Only Source of Light and Life and Healing and ALL THINGS, then it is HIS SPIRIT flowing through the hands of the vessel, and not that person’s energy (and you don’t know what they have thought that morning.  You don’t want another person’s energy, do you?)

God is LIGHT.  His LIGHT is LIFE.  LIGHT produces energy by speaking into the darkness.  LIGHT illumines our own darkness.  We are a candle, able to be illumined by God.

You don’t cast out darkness.  You SHINE in it.

Psalm 18:23 For You light my lamp;
The Lord my God illumines my darkness.

Yes there is energy produced by God, it is called Light.  Light imparts LIFE.  LIFE is energy.   Atoms are energy. (Yes, they are not matter they are energy, look it up.)  Atoms have protons which are positive, and electrons which are negative.  These positive protons and negative electrons work in tandem to create energy.  Without one or the other, there is function for a short while, but it is unstable.

Are you a positive person by your own definition of positive?  If so, you need energy which cannot exist without a negative person in your life, which you want to kick the curb because they bring you down, yet you will be attracted to negative people all your life and they will be attracted to you because you cannot exist without them and then, all that negativity you have regarding negative people becomes darkness within your own soul.

Semantics?   Nope.
