Who is like You Lord?
Ruler of all nations,
Captain of our armies,
Throughout all generations
Who is like You Lord?
You give the command
And it is so!
Your silence demands our stillness
Your Word demands we go
You cause the sun to rise and set
On just and unjust alike
You send the storm
You calm the sea
No, there is none like
Your voice commands cedars
To split in half
At its sound a deer gives birth
To its calf
And commands the desert to bloom
Yet You sit and laugh
At the plans of the all the nations
You are God of all Creation
And You do as You please
We fall to our knees
And say You alone
I am writing this as a seer. I have finally begun to accept that I am a seer and I don’t look like other seers. The Lord gives me visions and pictures and I don’t always know what they mean. It takes me longer to process and in the past I have made apology for what I see because I cannot always interpret. But, I have a very significant role in the Body of Christ.
That said, on December 29 I had a vision.
I saw in the spirit the numbers “20/20” (<~~~just like this) and my first thought was “Noooooo”, I didn’t want to get a prophetic word on how hindsight is 2020 or how my visual acuity will increase this year. I actually read some posts put out about 6 months ago by a prophetic teacher – he said “watch all the junk prophecies come out about 2020 vision.” I thought “gosh I hope the Lord doesn’t give me a word about 2020 vision. Yet here it is.
Or is it? I didn’t see “2020” in a vision. I saw “20/20” which is how visual acuity is written. But something bothered me about it being about visual acuity.
1) To have 20/20 vision means the distance the AVERAGE person can see from 20 feet away. Our God does not call us to be AVERAGE. He calls us to perfection.
2) To have 20/15 vision is sharper vision, and to have 20/30 vision is worse. Hindsight is 20/20 but not foresight. So, just because the year 2020 reminds us of vision, it stops there. We would not have had keener sight in 2015 and duller sight in 2030.
Calling prophetic words junk prophecies ahead of time, on a public platform before they even come out might hurt a very young student of prophetic interpretation. We encourage newbies to start somewhere. What if God was very pleased with a budding young prophet who took the year 2020 to see that eyes were going to be opened? What if this person started seeing in the spirit that we are about to embark on the greatest eye-opening, greatest awakening of the world and saw millions coming to the Lord? An art teacher might call stick figures junk if an art student in their late teens handed it in, but what if a toddler gave it? Wouldn’t it be judged differently?
So instead of despising the initial vision, I took some time with it (and yes it is interesting that I saw a vision of 20/20 and didn’t hear a word on the matter. It took me awhile to sit and wrestle with it).
The vision 20/20 definitely had a forward slash. Not a backslash. There is significance in the slash. The slash separated the two 20’s. It was not two thousand and twenty, but rather twenty slash twenty.
What does a forward slash mean? It means and/or. So in one sense it is a combining of, and in another sense it is separation of. Either/or is fine.
So, 20/20 means visual acuity but it wasn’t what HE, the Vision-Giver, wanted me to see. It was the slash. He wanted me to see the forward slash; the and/or. The unifying and the separating.
The Separating (the “or”)
There will be a distinct separation of wheat and tares, of sheep and goats.
I had this vision on December 29, so I turned to my reading for the day. Psalm 29. It was about The Voice of the Lord.
The Voice of The Lord is mighty. The Voice of the Lord is powerful. The Voice of the Lord is heard by those who incline their ear to hear.
Take a look at John 12.
vs 28 Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”
vs 29 So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.”
vs 30 Jesus answered and said, “This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.
vs 31 Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
Everyone heard something; not everyone heard the same thing.
1) Some heard thunder. They were only in tune with what is evident before them.
2) Some heard the voice of an angel. They heard something spiritual, but gave credit to angels or other beings in the spirit realm.
3) Some heard the voice of God. Only The Father in Heaven can glorify the Son.
There will be a distinct separation in 20/20 of those who hear only thunder, those who hear “something in the spiritual realm” and those who hear the Voice of the Lord Himself.
Such distinction that it will provoke jealousy in those who heard only thunder and those who heard angels; the ones who heard thunder will be offended by, and attack those who heard the Voice of the Lord, and those who heard angels will go on public record to denounce and condemn those who heard the Voice of the Lord.
Those who heard the Voice of the Lord will be increasingly made manifest as the Sons of God; they will never be snatched away.
The Unifying (the “And”)
But it will also be the maturation of the Saints. What is the process of arriving to maturation? Unity.
Ephesians 4:13-15 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
Since the slash means and/or, unifying or separating this will also be a unification of the saints and all their gifts. The Voice and The Sight. The Prophet and The Seer and The Apostle together. The Body of Christ looking like a healthy, living organism, serving one another and finding their places. They eye will know they are the eye and the foot will know they are the foot and they will serve the entire Body because a healthy Body is a strong body. A healthy Body has cells that know which other cells to group with for a specific function above anything else. So in other words, soul tie relationships will be broken and relationships will form based on the Spirit. These cells and relationships with other cells, will form healthy tissues (home groups?) for the strengthening of each other, and these tissues will form healthy organs and these healthy organs will form healthy systems.
Ezekiel 37: 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’
vs 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.
vs 6 I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.’”
vs 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
vs 8 And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
vs 9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.”’”
vs 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
20/20 – This year is a biblical year. It is the beginning of ‘the end of the age.’ How many of us have read ‘the age’ as ‘the end of time on earth?’ It is in reality, the end of the church age. No, I am not saying people will stop going to church, but I am saying that the focus (20/20 focus?) will no longer be on the church. It will be on the Kingdom of God.
Take a look.
Matthew 13:36 Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”
vs 37 And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
vs 38 and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one;
vs 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the and the reapers are angels.
vs 40 So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age.
vs 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,
vs 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
vs 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
John 10:24 The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
John:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
vs 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
vs 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
No one will be able to snatch us from the Father’s hand. We need to encourage each other with this, but we need to keep our eyes and ears and heart attune to The Spirit of God, being very careful not to be a stumbling block to those trying to find their way. If you have been a stumbling block to any (like maybe calling out junk prophecies before they even exist ), you need to repent now.
One last thought – (perhaps) – and that is when there is a separation of wheat and tares, goats and sheep, and when there is a maturation of the Saints in the coming together in perfect Body function, there also comes judgment.
John 12:31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.
Some might argue with me that the time of judgment already came because this verse refers to the Cross. But the Word of God has multiple prophetic timelines. For while The Cross is Judgment for the sins of the world and in the church age we learned how to nail our sins to the Cross, there is still a time of judgment upon the earth. I am not referring to the Bema seat or the Great White Throne Judgment to come. I am referring to the words of Jesus when He said why He came – to destroy the works of Satan.
When the And/Or takes place; the distinct separation and maturation manifestation, the works of Satan are now able to be destroyed in full view of men.
The And/Or is about separation and maturation – but then comes the judgment.
