Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
The Smorgasboard is a spiritual counterfeit to The Table Set before us.
It’s about mutual honor not mutual lust.
I have everything before me
SUPPLY for all my needs
All that I have longing for
My Savior Shepherd feeds
He leads me by still waters
That restore my peace of mind
Then like cheerful soldiers
All my parts become aligned
He leads me down the pathways
Destination Victory
He deserves all glory
Though He shares it some with me
Although I walk where clouds of death,
Hang like canopies
There’s a table in the wilderness
Set for enemies to see
I’m anointed head to toe with oil
That flows past borderlines
Goodness, mercy and faithfulness
Follow close behind
All I need and all I want
Is granted unto me
At the Table in the Desert
Where all my enemies see
My dwelling is my Father’s house
He walks alongside me
The Table in the Wilderness
The Table in the Wilderness
The Table in the Wilderness
Such a contrast of the Smorgasbord that is offered for our palates!
His Word is what’s on the table
Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your loving-kindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
Lord, keep my heart steadfast and pure
Keep my lips from the obscene
Keep my feet from the slippery slope
Into the deep ravine
Keep my eyes full straight ahead
My hands uplifted high
My head anointed with your oil
This is my battle cry
