Morning Coffee.
Thyroid supplements.
Let the dogs out.
Ezekiel toast with butter from grass fed cows.
Usual morning.
Lord, speak to me. What is on your heart?
Second cup.
It’s a little chilly out.
Niacin-flush ready.
Clothing layered.
Walk out to look at apple tree.
Little green apples with a hint of blush.
Many have wormholes.
Lord, speak to me. What are you saying?
The tree is getting tall.
No apples up top.
I don’t have my pruning shares with me.
I don’t want all the life flow going to the areas where apples are not.
Hand-prune.
Worm-holed apples pulled.
Dried leaves removed.
Grey twigs without hint of green broken off.

Lord, speak to me. What are you saying?
A song runs through my mind.
Old song. Like 51 years old.
“I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do. So I leave it up to you.”
Wow, where did that come from out of nowhere?
Too many thoughts this morning and all I want to do is just hear from the Lord.
Father, speak to me. What are you saying?
Stitches.
Straight stitches.
Zig Zag stitches.
Basting stitches.
Basic Stitches.

Two hours later.
Determined to hear from the Lord if I could just shut down the thoughts.
Why so many thoughts?
“I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do? So I leave it up to you.”
51 year old song
Lord, what are you speaking? Bring your quiet to my mind this morning.
Today June 19.
Father’s Day.
Birth father and stepfather no longer here on earth.
Father in heaven, what are you saying? What are you speaking?
“Go to Psalms”
Psalm 19 (June 19 – Father’s Day) What are you saying?
vs 1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
vs 2 Day unto day utters speech
“Stop!”
Day unto day utters speech
Handiwork
Stitches
Every day and every thought are as stitches
Stitches that bind together
He brings order to the chaos
He ties it all together
vs 3 There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
vs 4 Their line (STITCH?) has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
vs 5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
vs 6 Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
Handiwork.
Tapestry.
Sewn and woven together with stitches.

vs 7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
vs 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
“I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do. So I leave it up to you.”
51 years ago this song was in the top 40. Fifty One years ago this song was released.
When you don’t know what to do but do nothing, you pass it on to the next generation to figure it out. Fifty one years ago we are still crying the same thing!
“It is necessary only for the good man to do nothing for evil to triumph”.
Pruning is necessary for life to flow to good fruit.
vs 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
vs 10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
vs 11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
Father, I hear Your voice. Your law is perfect converting the soul. Day after day, thought after thought, stitch after stitch reveals your perfect handiwork if we are patient to see how you weave and stitch it all together to reveal Your heart, Your voice.
Fifty-one years later a song by a band named “Ten Years After”
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
vs 12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
vs 13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of great transgression.
vs 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
How do we change the world Father?
By pruning back what does not produce fruit.
What do I prune?
Thoughts that do not produce good fruit.
Secret faults that began as unfruitful thoughts.
“I’d love to change the world, but I leave THAT up to You! I will begin with me. May your words be the words that I meditate on and speak. Cleanse me of unfruitful thoughts that I have kept that are sucking all the life out of me and keeping me from focusing on your life-producing word. Redeem what can be redeemed, and purge what just needs to be purged. Nothing is random. They either produce fruit or they do not. I know what to do. Your law is perfect, converting the soul and making wise the simple.”
