The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it. Psalm 68:11

A New Habitation

He is our resting Place, and He desires we be HIS

Psalm 132:3“Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house,
Or go up to the comfort of my bed;
vs 4 I will not give sleep to my eyes
Or slumber to my eyelids,
vs 5 Until I find a place for the Lord,
A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

vs 6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah;
We found it in the fields of the woods.
vs 7 Let us go into His tabernacle;
Let us worship at His footstool.
vs 8 Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place,
You and the ark of Your strength.
vs 9 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
And let Your saints shout for joy.
vs 10 For Your servant David’s sake,
Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed.
vs 11 The Lord has sworn in truth to David;
He will not turn from it:
“I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.
vs 12 If your sons will keep My covenant
And My testimony which I shall teach them,
Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”
vs 13 For the Lord has chosen Zion;
He has desired it for His dwelling place:
vs 14 “This is My resting
place forever;
Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

We are clothed in our habitation from heaven

2 Cor 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is
destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands,
eternal in the heavens.

vs 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation
which is from heaven,
vs 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found
naked.

Every creature has a dwelling place somewhere, but those who love yearn for the Lord make HIM their home.

Psalm 84 How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O Lord of hosts!
vs 2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

vs 3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
My King and my God.
vs 4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You. Selah

vs 5 Blessed is the man
whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
vs 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
They make it a spring;
The rain also covers it with pools.
vs 7 They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.

Exodus 15:13
You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.

Psalm 26:8 Lord, I have loved the habitation
of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells.

Matthew 8:19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him,
“Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
vs 20 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have
nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
vs 21 Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and
bury my father.”
vs 22 But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

The Five-Fold Function of Butterflies

(The Apostle) EYE ON: GARDEN PURITY, NOTHING TOXIC NEED BE ADDED.
Gardening for butterflies means reducing or eliminating the use of pesticides.  This in turn will bring more beneficial wildlife to the garden, such as spiders, ladybugs, praying mantids and dragonflies.

(The Prophet ) EYE ON:  FLOW OF ATMOSPHERE, HOSTING THE PRESENCE
Butterflies serve as a BAROMETER of how the environment is doing. Through their delicate nature, butterfly numbers can decrease quickly when something is amiss in the ecosystem. By studying butterfly populations, scientists are alerted early to problems affecting all living things, including humans.

(The Teacher) EYE ON:  GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OTHER BUTTERFLIES
They provide educational value. Their metamorphosis from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly is a great teaching tool.  Schoolchildren often study them as an introduction to the wonders of nature. Butterflies bring an awareness of nature to those who observe them, as well as joy and relaxation.

(The Pastor) EYE ON: CARE AND NURTURE OF OTHER BUTTERFLIES, ASSISTING THEM IN NOT BRINGING FOOD BUT BEING FOOD FOR OTHERS, PROVIDING SUSTENANCE
Butterflies assist with the cycle of life. Butterflies at all stages are a food source for other animals in the food chain such as birds, lizards, frogs, toads, wasps, and bats, among others.

(The Evangelist/Missionary) EYE ON: NETWORKING, TRAVEL, GATHERING. MAY GO TO OTHER GARDENS IN SEARCH OF FRUIT TO BRING TO THEIR OWN, ASSIST IN OTHER GARDENS Butterflies are important pollinators. Approximately one-third of all plants need pollination to set fruit, and bees and butterflies are major pollinators. Flower nectar is the food for adult butterflies and by flying from flower to flower sipping nectar, pollination occurs.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being TRANSFORMED into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

TRANSFORMED-  Greek metamorphoō  μεταμορφόω metamorphóō, met-am-or-fo’-o; from G3326 and G3445; to transform (literally or figuratively, “metamorphose”):—change, transfigure, transform.

Not just maturing.  TRANSFORMING.
Not one time.  BEING TRANSFORMED.

A butterfly can never go back into the cocoon.
