Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained (NAS)

Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; (NKJ)

Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish;(Amp)

If people can’t see what God is doing,
   they stumble all over themselves; (The Mssg)

Where there is no understanding of the Word of the Lord, the people do whatever they want to (NLV)

Are unrestrained
Cast off restraint

Colossians 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, keep looking for the good things of heaven. This is where Christ is seated on the right side of God.

VISION: If then you have been raised with Christ, keep LOOKING for the good things of heaven. This is where Christ is seated on the right side of God.


Phillipians 4:8 Christian brothers, keep your minds THINKING about whatever is true, whatever is respected, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever can be loved, and whatever is well thought of. If there is anything good and worth giving thanks for, THINK about these things. (NLV)

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—THINK about such things. (NLV)

Brothers and sisters, think about the things that are good and worthy of praise. Think about the things that are true and honorable and right and pure and beautiful and respected. (NCV)

For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, THINK on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. (AMPC)

FOCUS: Colossians 3:2 SET YOUR MIND (THINK) and keep FOCUSED HABITUALLY on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. (Amp)

BECAUSE: You died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ appears, then you will also appear.

ACTION:
PUT ON RESTRAINT – DO NOT LIVE AS ONE WHO HAS NO VISION- See Proverbs 29 above) Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. ⁶ Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, ⁷ in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. 8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. ⁹ Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

PUT ON RIGHTEOUSNESS: and have PUT ON who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

ALLOW:
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. ¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. ¹⁷ And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Why is this on my heart today?
I’ve been observing a lack of restraint in the body. Doing what they want to do, seeking the world for how to be, not careful with their tongue and spewing out of their mouths whatever they want in the name of “honesty” and “freedom”

“I’m not rude, just being honest. I love Jesus.” (you don’t need to say that)

“I’m just sayin..” is usually followed by a hard opinion.

“Please Lord, please don’t let me be sick” is not a prayer of faith He hears.

“Yoga class is right after church service today” is evidence of Christ NOT appearing to you…

Why do i write this? In hopes that my children and the younger generation will read in small bits what appears to be no longer taught.
I pray they have VISION of the risen Christ, now seated on the throne and that we are seated with Him in heavenly places as we put off our flesh and put on holiness, ignoring the accusations of religiousness, and walk with purity in heart.

Father bring back godly mothers and fathers and leaders to Your Body.
