    Exodus 32:35 So the Lord plagued the people because of what they did with the calf which Aaron made.

  • The Home Stretch

    Definition of homestretch

    1 : the part of a racecourse between the last turn and the winning post
    2 : a final stage

    Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained

    Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

    2 Cor 1:20 For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

    I remember when I first began this journey.

    Richard had just had a little stroke in Sept 2009. They wanted to put him on coumadin and he didn’t want to be on it. He said “isnt there something you could whip up to keep me off coumadin?” Meaning, herbals.

    I didn’t know.

    I only knew how to have a hobby.

    I didn’t know how to help people with serious stuff.

    So I was sitting in my car, just before going into work, praying. I said “Lord, how can I help him or anyone?”

    The next thing I saw in my mind’s eye was Jesus holding His hand out to me and said “Come”.

    Somehow I just knew it meant “Let’s take this journey through schooling one step at a time”

    I said “One step at a time?? I’ll be 70 years old before I graduate!”

    He said to me immediately “Creation belongs to Me. Take back the Land. If I let you live til 70 years old, you will have your degree if you begin now.”

    So one class at a time, in November 2009, it began. I can’t look at it all.

    I took two placement tests yesterday to see what else I need to move on to my vision of becoming a naturopath. Looks like I need to take nine more classes before even stepping into the naturopath course.

    It overwhelms me. But, nine more classes is nine more months. Then four classes of naturopath is four months. Nine plus Four is 13. If I start in September, and continue I will be a naturopath by October 2023.

    It’s not really about the end goal, however. It is about the journey. Every step helps me shed old baggage and makes me proud of who I am, not because I did this. I have relied upon the Lord every moment and have had to be protected from beliefs that were not mine – or false beliefs, counterfeit, of another spirit, learning discernment, keeping my head in the word and my heart in prayer.

    Why does the home stretch seem so long?

    It’s because we get tired.
    Stamina diminishes.
    Money dwindles.
    Not enough people take me seriously.
    Many will cheer me on, but the fruit of having sown so much time and money is not there.
    It makes me wonder if it’s worth it.

    I do not own the rights to these videos.

    But then, the original vision comes back around. My heart leaps with love and I can see no other way unless I die. It is only worthless if I give up now.
    If I quit now, then I receive an “Atta girl! At least you gave it your all”

    I don’t want that. I want the PRIZE! I want to finish this race with my eyes fixed on Jesus. I could list all the obstacles, one by one by one by one. I could list the sacrifices of resources. One by one by one by one. But that receives the consolation prize. I don’t want that.

    What is your vision? Ask the Lord to remind you of the vision He gave you ten, twenty, thirty years ago that you don’t yet see.

    Does your heart leap in love? It’s not really about the end goal of naturopath for me. It’s because I see Him right in front of me as I press on towards the prize.

    Naturopath is just a title. But when He leads me in the journey, it is a crown of victory.

    Jeremiah 12:5 “If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you,
    Then how can you contend with horses?
    And if in the land of peace,
    In which you trusted, they wearied you,
    Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

  • A New Habitation

    He is our resting Place, and He desires we be HIS

    Psalm 132:3“Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house,
    Or go up to the comfort of my bed;
    vs 4 I will not give sleep to my eyes
    Or slumber to my eyelids,
    vs 5 Until I find a place for the Lord,
    A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

    vs 6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah;
    We found it in the fields of the woods.
    vs 7 Let us go into His tabernacle;
    Let us worship at His footstool.
    vs 8 Arise, O Lord, to Your resting place,
    You and the ark of Your strength.
    vs 9 Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
    And let Your saints shout for joy.
    vs 10 For Your servant David’s sake,
    Do not turn away the face of Your Anointed.
    vs 11 The Lord has sworn in truth to David;
    He will not turn from it:
    “I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.
    vs 12 If your sons will keep My covenant
    And My testimony which I shall teach them,
    Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore.”
    vs 13 For the Lord has chosen Zion;
    He has desired it for His dwelling place:
    vs 14 “This is My resting
    place forever;
    Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

    We are clothed in our habitation from heaven

    2 Cor 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is
    destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands,
    eternal in the heavens.

    vs 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation
    which is from heaven,
    vs 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found

    Every creature has a dwelling place somewhere, but those who love yearn for the Lord make HIM their home.

    Psalm 84 How lovely is Your tabernacle,
    O Lord of hosts!
    vs 2 My soul longs, yes, even faints
    For the courts of the Lord;
    My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

    vs 3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
    And the swallow a nest for herself,
    Where she may lay her young—
    Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
    My King and my God.
    vs 4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
    They will still be praising You. Selah

    vs 5 Blessed is the man
    whose strength is in You,
    Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
    vs 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
    They make it a spring;
    The rain also covers it with pools.
    vs 7 They go from strength to strength;
    Each one appears before God in Zion.

    Exodus 15:13
    You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.

    Psalm 26:8 Lord, I have loved the habitation
    of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells.

    Matthew 8:19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him,
    “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
    vs 20 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have
    nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
    vs 21 Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and
    bury my father.”
    vs 22 But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

    The Five-Fold Function of Butterflies

    Gardening for butterflies means reducing or eliminating the use of pesticides.  This in turn will bring more beneficial wildlife to the garden, such as spiders, ladybugs, praying mantids and dragonflies.

    Butterflies serve as a BAROMETER of how the environment is doing. Through their delicate nature, butterfly numbers can decrease quickly when something is amiss in the ecosystem. By studying butterfly populations, scientists are alerted early to problems affecting all living things, including humans.

    They provide educational value. Their metamorphosis from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly is a great teaching tool.  Schoolchildren often study them as an introduction to the wonders of nature. Butterflies bring an awareness of nature to those who observe them, as well as joy and relaxation.

    Butterflies assist with the cycle of life. Butterflies at all stages are a food source for other animals in the food chain such as birds, lizards, frogs, toads, wasps, and bats, among others.

    (The Evangelist/Missionary) EYE ON: NETWORKING, TRAVEL, GATHERING. MAY GO TO OTHER GARDENS IN SEARCH OF FRUIT TO BRING TO THEIR OWN, ASSIST IN OTHER GARDENS Butterflies are important pollinators. Approximately one-third of all plants need pollination to set fruit, and bees and butterflies are major pollinators. Flower nectar is the food for adult butterflies and by flying from flower to flower sipping nectar, pollination occurs.

    2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being TRANSFORMED into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

    TRANSFORMED-  Greek metamorphoō  μεταμορφόω metamorphóō, met-am-or-fo’-o; from G3326 and G3445; to transform (literally or figuratively, “metamorphose”):—change, transfigure, transform.

    Not just maturing.  TRANSFORMING.
    Not one time.  BEING TRANSFORMED.

    A butterfly can never go back into the cocoon.

    Do Not Forsake the Assembling of Yourselves Together in…..

    15 For these people are not drunk, as you assume, since it is only the third hour of the day; 16 but this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel:

    17 ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,
    ‘That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
    And your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
    And your young men will see visions,
    And your old men will have dreams;
    18 And even on My male and female servants
    I will pour out My Spirit in those days,
    And they will prophesy.
    19 And I will display wonders in the sky above
    And signs on the earth below,
    Blood, fire, and vapor of smoke.
    20 The sun will be turned into darkness
    And the moon into blood,
    Before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.
    21 And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

    Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
    vs 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching

    Acts 2:45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

    vs 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
    vs 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

    “But The Lord Knows My Heart!” You Keep Saying That.

    1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

    Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things,
    And desperately wicked;
    Who can know it?

    Genesis 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

    Deuteronomy 15:9 Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,’ and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the Lord against you, and it become sin among you.

    1 Kings 2:44 The king said moreover to Shimei, “You know, as your heart acknowledges, all the wickedness that you did to my father David; therefore the Lord will return your wickedness on your own head.

    Psalm 11:2 Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, “You will not require an account.

    Psalm 28:3 Do not take me away with the wicked And with the workers of iniquity, Who speak peace to their neighbors, But evil is in their hearts.

    Psalm 58:1 Do you indeed speak righteousness, you silent ones?
    Do you judge uprightly, you sons of men?
    vs 2 No, in heart you work wickedness;
    You weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.

    Psalm 141:4 Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies.

    Psalm 15:28 The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.

    Isaiah 47:10 “For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

    Jeremiah 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?

    Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

    Jeremiah 9:8 Their tongue is an arrow shot out; It speaks deceit; One speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, But in his heart he lies in wait.

    Jeremiah 14:14 And the Lord said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

    Daniel 8:25 “Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means.

    Psalm 12:2 They speak lies to one another; They speak with flattering lips and a double heart.

    Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed detestable acts; There is no one who does good.

    Psalm 17:10 They have closed their unfeeling hearts, With their mouths they speak proudly.

    Matthew 5:27“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’;
    vs 28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

    Hebrews 4: 12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

    And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.

    Only the word of God can discern between
    the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

    I repent of pride every day and ask him to purify my heart and motives. I realize, I have had
    secret thoughts,
    secret feelings,
    secret desires
    underhandedness, the methods and arts that men hide through shame

    I can sit in church and
    judge people
    their clothes their hairdos,
    their apparent lack of engagement in the service,
    people’s clothes in Walmart,
    family members,
    critical judging of others anywhere I am.

    I can find myself jealous of others of their gifts or positions in church. All kinds of impure thoughts and motives that must be brought under control to the Glory of God our Father.

    I am submitting that to Jesus Christ for him to purify my heart and motives. We have assumed it is our thoughts, in our head and we can can allow them to run rampant and unrestrained. But our Father sees, hears and knows everything that is going through our mind. He requires love. Without we are only a noise, an annoying noise.

    2 Corinthians 4:2 AMPC
    We have renounced disgraceful ways (secret thoughts, feelings, desires and underhandedness, the methods and arts that men hide through shame); we refuse to deal craftily (to practice trickery and cunning) or to adulterate or handle dishonestly the Word of God, but we state the truth openly (clearly and candidly). And so we commend ourselves in the sight and presence of God to every man’s conscience.

    We must bring every high thing (thought) into submissions that exalts itself above the knowledge of God and take it captive. Our Papa wants us to be a loving people who see through His eyes of Love.

    2 Cor 10: 5 We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

And Jesus said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.” Matthew 13:52
